Claude André Hébert has worked in the field of perfumery for the past sixteen years. He started with the Aramis division of the Estée Lauder Group, holding the position of counter chief at The Bay Downtown in Montreal as well as that of telemarketing representative for eastern Canada. From there, he moved on to the Lancaster Group as representative responsible for the Montreal area, and later worked with Clarins Canada, distributors of the Thierry Mugler perfume Angel, as manager, eastern Canada.

After many years of working in this field, Claude André began to realize that the world of perfumery and cosmetics had changed. The products offered were no longer top-of-the-line. He felt it was time to "return to the source;" that is, to tradition and a guarantee of quality.
